As we have stated in our How To Choose The Right Program video, it is never easy to pick a program that is not only good but is catered to your own needs and objectives. It often happens that trainers will come up with default programs that don’t take into account the fact we’re all different, and what might work for someone else might not work for you, and vice versa.
Another issue many people encounter is repetition. And this is not just a matter of being accustomed to the same repetitive exercises every day. Any of us would get bored if we took part in doing an activity the same way every week with little room to learn something new and spice things up.
Therefore, we strongly believe our FIT4 Group Classes are the solution to that and other obstructions. Before we were trainers, we were beginners, we were students. That is not to say we are omniscient, as we challenge ourselves to learn more year after year. But after more than 10 years of training and more than that as students, we have come to observe and understand patterns. These patterns correspond to attitudes, behaviours and incentives observed along our journey. Some are apparent right away they’re crystal clear. They may have to do with comfort and convenience: why do I have to spend minutes looking for that one dumbbell I want to use? Others correspond to things that might seem unimportant and imperceptible. For instance, joining a gym and assisting can feel in the beginning like a stressful and nerve-wracking experience. Unfortunately, this is only one of many things that go unnoticed or are simply ignored by people who do not go through these experiences.
What are our Fit4 classes and what makes them unique?
Our FIT4LIFE classes have the advantage of being focused on full-body strength and conditioning workout, and relying on progressive overload, a powerful principle involving continually increasing the demands of your body to get stronger and fitter. This consists of making your muscles work harder than what they are used to.
On the other hand, if what you are looking for variety, our FIT4ALL classes are exactly what you need. The perks of these classes are that there is something new every day. Likewise, these classes are focused on all-around body movements, which means you are getting a full-body exercise while partaking in different types of exercises. And most important of all, having fun.
Why do we emphasize the concept of community so much?
At HI REPS, community means a place where everyone is welcome and is encouraged to make HI REPS a second home. We believe working out should be more than sweating and getting fit. Community means creating an intimidation-free environment where everyone is free to go at their own pace. At the same time, we believe working out can be both working and having fun.
